Good Bye Vine
Can one be funny in 6 seconds? Yes, yes one can. When yet another social app burst on the scene, it was hard to fathom being entertained by 6 second videos. Most vines were not funny. But some model U.S. citizens found a way to make it work and changed the landscape of stardom. If you had the juice, you could make a living off 6 second videos. A news story aired that cause my momma to question my lifes path. When momma heard all the money made off vine she belted out, “What’s wrong with yall?!?!”(
After vines success, of course, more apps were fashioned for video. Snap chat is a major player and IG added video which may have saturated the market. Apps come and go and so do social sites such as Myspace and Blackplanet. There is no denying that vine changed the game though.
