Serena Williams shows off engagement ring on Reddit, naturally
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian popped the question in Rome sometime before New Year’s Eve.
Serena Williams finally showed of her engagement ring.
Predictably taking to Reddit for the reveal, the tennis champion on Thursday posted a photo with Reddit co-founder and fiancé Alexis Ohanian with her hand placed on his chest. Williams, 35, wore a simple black skirt, white tank top and a pair of Nike sneakers to finish off her look.
“Engagement shoe game,” she cheekily captioned the Reddit snap, knowing everyone would be zooming in on her engagement sparkler.
Ohanian, 33, popped the question in Rome, where the couple first met, according to Williams’ late December announcement on her beau’s platform.
“This time he made it not by chance / But by choice,” Williams gushed. “Down on one knee / He said 4 words / And I said yes.”
The couple, who have yet to share any other plans about their future, celebrated their engagement in New Zealand.
