The famous suffragette turns out not to be what viewers expected.
The Susan B. Anthony home in Upstate NY got some attention from “Saturday Night Live” this weekend as the subject of a skit.
In the skit, five friends (Felicity Jones, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Vanessa Bayer and Melissa Villasenor) “visit” the Rochester home, where they summon the ghost of Susan B. Anthony (Kate McKinnon), who turns out to be a bit different than they expected.
McKinnon’s Anthony has a habit of awkwardly chiming in to the women’s conversation and has some boundary issues thanks to her curiosity about the women’s cell phones.
She also shocks the women right at the end of the skit by saying “abortion is murder” as they prepare to leave.
Watch the skit in the video from NBC below.
